About Prime Slabs
What is Prime Slabs?
Prime Slabs is a UK-based custom trading card display brand. We create bespoke art display kits for the cards you care about most — without traditional grading.
Are you a grading company?
No. We don't assess, grade, or assign numerical condition ratings to cards. We focus entirely on presentation — creating beautiful custom display environments for your cards.
How is this different from PSA, BGS, or CGC grading?
Traditional grading services charge £30–£150+ per card and take months to return your card. They focus on assessing condition and authenticity, sealing your card in a generic case with a grade number.
Prime Slabs costs from £9.99 per card, ships in days not months, and creates a custom-designed display that's tailored to your specific card — not a generic plastic case.
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Use our interactive slab builder on the homepage. Choose your trading card game, enter the card details, optionally upload a photo, pick your label style and turnaround, then add to cart.
Can I order more than one slab?
Absolutely. Each slab is built individually — configure one card, add to cart, then build the next one. Each will arrive as a unique custom display.
Do you support cards from any TCG?
Yes — Pokémon, Sports Cards, One Piece, Lorcana, Marvel, Star Wars and more. If you have a card from a TCG not listed in our builder, choose "Other Trading Card Game" and let us know in your order notes.
Why do I need to upload a photo of my card?
It's optional, but highly recommended. Photos help us match the artwork colours and aesthetic of your specific card perfectly — especially helpful for the Colour Match and Prime label upgrades.
Pricing & Shipping
How much does a slab cost?
Pricing starts at £9.99 for our Standard slab. Label upgrades add £2–£3, and faster shipping options add £6.
How long does delivery take?
- Standard: 7–10 day turnaround, then Royal Mail 48
- Priority: 3–5 day turnaround, then Royal Mail 24
Do you ship outside the UK?
Currently we ship within the UK only. International shipping is on the roadmap — follow us on social media to be notified.

What's included in a slab kit?

Does my card get damaged?
No. You insert your card yourself once the kit arrives. We never handle your actual card.
Can I display my slab on a shelf or wall?
Yes — our slabs are designed for modern presentation stands, shelf units, and wall displays.
Returns & Issues
What if I'm not happy with my order?
Because each slab is custom-made for your specific card, we can't accept returns on opened or used items. However, if there's a quality issue with your order, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
My slab arrived damaged. What do I do?
Take a photo of the damage and email us within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement at no cost.
