1. About Us

Prime Slabs is a custom trading card display business based in the United Kingdom. We design and produce bespoke art display kits for collectible trading cards.

2. Eligibility

To place an order with us, you must be:

• At least 18 years old, or have parent/guardian consent
• Capable of forming a legally binding contract
• Providing accurate and complete information when ordering

3. Products & Services

We provide custom-designed display kits for trading cards, including:

• Custom-printed art inserts matched to your card
• Protective acrylic slab housings
• Various label styles (Standard, Colour Match, Prime Label)

We are not a card grading service. We do not assess, certify, or assign condition ratings to cards. Our service is for display and presentation only.

4. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase. Our acceptance occurs when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for:

• Stock issues or pricing errors
• Suspicious or fraudulent activity
• Requests involving copyrighted or trademarked card artwork we cannot legally reproduce

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include applicable VAT where required. Pricing is subject to change without notice, but confirmed orders are honoured at the price shown at checkout.

Payment is processed at the time of order through Shopify's secure payment system. We accept all major credit/debit cards and other payment methods offered at checkout.

6. Production & Delivery

Each slab is custom-made to order. Production timelines vary based on the option selected:

• Standard: 7–10 day turnaround, then Royal Mail 48
• Priority: 3–5 day turnaround, then Royal Mail 24

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by Royal Mail or other carriers are outside our control.

7. Custom Artwork & Intellectual Property

Our display kits feature custom artwork inspired by your card's expansion, era, and aesthetic. We respect intellectual property rights:

• We do not reproduce trademarked or copyrighted card artwork directly
• Our designs are original creative interpretations, not derivative works of protected IP
• By uploading a photo of your card, you confirm you legally own the physical card
• You retain ownership of your card; we provide the display kit only

All Prime Slabs designs, artwork, branding, and website content remain our exclusive intellectual property.

8. Returns & Refunds

Because each slab is custom-made for your specific card, we have a strict return policy. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

9. Card Handling Responsibility

You insert your own card into the slab housing upon arrival. We never handle your actual trading card. We are not responsible for damage to your card resulting from:

• Incorrect insertion by you
• Pre-existing damage or condition issues
• Improper storage or display after receipt

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the price you paid for the affected item.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were made. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
