Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains our turnaround times, delivery options, and what to expect from order to doorstep. Currently, we ship within the United Kingdom only.
1. Where We Ship
Prime Slabs currently delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland).
We do not currently ship internationally. International shipping is on our roadmap — follow us on social media to be notified when it launches.
2. Turnaround & Shipping Options
Because each slab is custom-made, your total delivery time includes both production time and shipping time:
Standard
Production: 7–10 business days
Shipping: Royal Mail 48 (2–3 working days)
Priority
Production: 3–5 business days
Shipping: Royal Mail 24 (1–2 working days)
Total estimated delivery:
- Standard: 9–13 business days from order
- Priority: 4–7 business days from order
3. Production Time
Production time is the period during which we design and produce your custom slab. It starts the next business day after your order is placed.
During busy periods (holidays, new card releases, sales), production times may be slightly longer. We'll notify you if your order is significantly delayed.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with:
- Your Royal Mail tracking number
- A link to track your parcel
- Estimated delivery date
Tracking updates may take 24 hours to appear after dispatch.
5. Packaging
Every Prime Slabs order is shipped in protective packaging designed to keep your display kit safe in transit:
- Rigid, crush-resistant outer packaging
- Internal padding to prevent movement
- Discreet, unbranded outer for security
6. Delivery Issues
Delayed Delivery
Royal Mail timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. If your parcel is taking longer than expected:
- Wait at least 10 business days after dispatch before reporting it missing
- Track your parcel using the link provided
- Check with your local sorting office and neighbours
Failed Delivery
If Royal Mail attempts delivery and you're not in, they'll leave a card with instructions to collect from a local depot or rearrange delivery. Parcels not collected within 18 days are returned to us — additional postage will be required to resend.
Lost Parcels
If your parcel is confirmed lost by Royal Mail, we'll either resend your order or issue a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your delivery address before completing checkout. We're not responsible for parcels sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
If you notice an error within 1 hour of ordering, contact us immediately and we'll do our best to update it. After that, the address is locked in.
8. Public Holidays & Weekends
We process orders Monday to Friday only. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays are processed the next working day.
Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays or bank holidays — these days are not counted in delivery estimates.
9. Multiple Items
If you order multiple slabs in one transaction, they'll all be produced together and shipped in a single parcel for efficiency. The delivery estimate is based on the longest production time among your items.
10. Customs & Duties
As we currently only ship within the UK, there are no customs duties or import taxes to worry about.
